The problem: My books wouldn’t stay upright. The more I added, the more they leaned, fell, or shoved their way across the shelf like a slow-motion landslide. Most store-bought bookends were too light, too flimsy, or simply not built to handle real use.
The solution: I built my own—out of solid reclaimed steel.
Each pair of these bookends is handcrafted from heavy-duty steel angle, giving them serious weight and presence. A large nut is welded to each end, creating the illusion that a giant bolt is running through your books. It’s a subtle industrial detail that makes a bold statement.
